Rototec Geothermal Energy is a total provider of geothermal energy sources. We offer measurement, design and drilling of geothermal energy systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc was founded in December 2010 to facilitate the international business development of Rototec group and to be the global holding company for Rototec operations worldwide. Additionally Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc is responsible for the strategic management, group financing and global sourcing.
Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc is a UK Plc headquartered in London, UK and in Tampere, Finland. Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc, Rototec Oy, Rototec i Sverige AB and Rototec Geothermal Drilling Inc form a consolidated group as described in the figure above. Rototec Oy and Rototec i Sverige AB are fully owned subsidiaries of Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc, while Rototec Geothermal Drilling Inc is a fully owned subsidiary of Rototec i Sverige AB. Rototec Oy and Rototec i Sverige AB shares were acquired by Rototec Geothermal Energy Plc with the effect from December 31, 2010.
Rototec Oy is a Finnish limited liability company with regional headquarter in Tampere, Finland and offices in Helsinki and and Turku, Finland. Rototec Oy was the first operational company in the group being operationally responsible for the Finnish operation. Rototec Oy is the market leader of geothermal energy systems in Finland having a market share of more than 15%. The Company was founded June 2007.
Rototec i Sverige AB is a Swedish limited liability company with regional headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. The Swedish operation was started April 2008.
Rototec Geothermal Drilling Inc is an Illinois corporation with an office in Chicago, IL, USA. The company was founded September 2009 and is expected to be operational in the beginning of 2012.
